The Williamsburg Hotel Brooklyn

Hotel Name: The Williamsburg Hotel

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Stars: ★★★★★

Price we paid: $$$ Approx. A$350

First Impressions:

First of all, let me just say that taking a Taxi or Uber from NY to Brooklyn was a real task.  It was raining, and no one was willing to take us to Brooklyn, causing us to pay around $60 for a private taxi.

Aside from that...

It's easy to get fooled by the outside appearance of this hotel since there really is nothing grand to greet you at first.  However, it's about what's on the inside that counts.  And boy, did it really count.  As soon as we walked inside, we were speechless at the massive ceiling and ground-breaking interior design.  You could tell everything was planned and there for a reason, hand picked to ultimately become the masterpiece that we saw before us.  This hotel clearly prides itself in its presentation, with the branding being on point!  Everything matched the atmosphere from the blue couch to the open bar in the middle, perfect!  Just perfect.

The Room:

King Bed Terrace ( We got upgraded!)

It's New York!  Gotta make do with what you got right?  The room isn't as big as some other hotels, but for the location, we were pretty satisfied.  The bed was extremely comfortable, especially with the help of a care package supplied by the Williamsburg Hotel themselves which included eye-masks and ear plugs to help you sleep soundly.

Our room came with a balcony that had a scenic view facing the magnificent city of New York.  Watching the dazzling lights of the city that never sleeps in the night time is really such an amazing spectacle.  Keep in mind, however, that your neighbour's balcony is only a step away from yours!

Their bathroom is a total goal! Loving the teal tiles and gold details. Rainfall shower over the bathtub is an absolute win! Don't forget the pink bathrobe is as fluffy as their pillows

Comfort & Privacy

Because we were on the higher floors, we didn't have any problem with street noise or anything of that nature.  Be sure to request an upper level room to avoid the noise pollution too!  Also be weary of how close you and your neighbours' balconies are.

Complimentary Products/Services

- Free and fast Wi-Fi from the hotel provided

Room Service

Their room service IS THE BOMB! We had truffle pizza and Burrata cheese! We could not believe how insanely delicious the food is and how easy it was to order!  Definitely a highlight!

Final thoughts:

If you would like to do a quick gateway from the hectic lifestyle of New York city then Brooklyn is the new place to be at the moment. The Williamsburg has definitely a character of it's own and not too far from that most iconic Brooklyn Bridge that everyone rave about!
